EL PASO, TX — UTEP officials say beer sales helped the university make money during their homecoming game last Saturday. The university reports that it made more than $28,500 in beer sales. About 23,000 fans showed up to the game. The university says at this point they will continue selling beer at football games but they have not yet decided whether beer will be available at other sporting events.
