El Paso- A professor at UTEP tied to the public corruption scandal is planning to resign. Fernando Rodriguez was suspended in February after the El Paso Times reported he had received $1.1 million dollars in outside unemployment from Aliviane Inc. and did not report it to the University like the rules state. Professor Fernando Rodriguez is expected to resign on August 31st.
