Update: Police looking for suspect in kidnapping case

Police need your help in finding a man wanted wanted in a kidnapping and sexual assualt case that happened on Friday near Horizon High School in Far East El Paso.

The 12-year old victim says that during a football game she left the stands and while walking to the area of the restrooms she was approached by the suspect.

The man, who was believed to be carrying a handgun, led the girl to a dark blue truck and drove off the school parking lot.

The victim was later dropped off behind the Cinemark Movie Theater in the 12000 block of Montana at around 7:40 p.m.

The suspect is believed to be middle-aged with dark skin and a neatly-trimmed beard.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office immediately at 915-546-2280.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Persons Special Unit is asking for your help in finding the person they say is involved in a kidnapping case.

The kidnapping happened on Friday at around 5:15 p.m. near Horizon High School.

The person in the picture was seen around the area at the time the kidnapping happened. A black Chevy Silverado was also found near the area of Cinemark movie theaters on the 12000 block of Montana in Far East El Paso.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office immediately at 915-546-2280.
