Two shootings in one weekend with no suspects, but Las Cruces Crime Stoppers hope a $1,000 reward for information will help solve them. As we reported Sunday, police say they found a 21-year-old man shot in the arm on the 3040 block of Fairway. He had asked an uninvited guest to leave. Later that morning police say people started yelling and fired several shots at the home, hitting the victim twice. He was taken to UMC in El Paso and is in stable condition.

The other shooting happened Saturday on the 1100 block of Monte Vista Avenue. No injuries were reported. Witnesses say three men were seen running from the area. Las Cruces police cannot say if the two shootings are related.

Anyone with information in either shooting or the stabbing are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
