Two men wanted on felony warrants arrested in Clint

The El Paso County Sheriff's Strike team were able to take in two men with outstanding felony warrants in one single operation on Valentine's Day.

EPCSO Strike Team received information on the whereabounts of 46-year-old Jesus Alvarado Reyes, who was wanted on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies set up surveillance and followed a vehicle to a hotel in the 1500 block of FM 1110 in Clint, where they observed Reyes along with a second man.

When they approached Reyes and the second man, later identified as 23-year-old Pedro Barrera, they discovered that Barrera also had an outstanding felony warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Both men were arrested for the outstanding felony warrants an booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on $10,000 bonds.
