Police are investigating two aggravated robberies at a convenience store.

The first one happened at about 2 a.m. Tuesday morning in Northeast El Paso at the 7-Eleven on Sun Valley.

Police say a man went behind the counter and tried to get to the safe and threatened the clerk with a knife.

20 minutes later, another 7-Eleven in the same area was robbed.

This robbery happened on Rushing and Fairbanks which is a little over a mile from the first 7-Eleven robbed.
