The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is open to more testing of its full body scanners.
The scanners used at more than 100 airports around the country have already been tested for safety by federal agencies, but TSA officials want to take a closer look at the radiation that's released by the machines.
The TSA routinely monitors radiation levels to ensure the safety of both passengers and employees; the agency hasn't raised concerns about radiation levels in the past.
