Three cows were killed when a semi-truck slammed into them Sunday night on Interstate 10 near Clint.

It happened in the east bound lanes of the interstate, right near the Clint on-ramp. An El Paso County Sheriff's Department spokesperson says the semi-truck was carrying plums when it hit the cattle, which had gotten loose. All three died.

The collision tipped the semi-truck over. There's no word on the condition of the driver.
