The 5th Annual Trot for Tots race is taking place this Saturday, hosted by the Child Crisis Center of El Paso.
The race is 5 kilometers and will take place at Ascarate Park. It starts at 8 a.m., though registration begins bright and early at 6:30 a.m.
This year, Mayor John Cook, Sheriff Richard Wiles, and Fire Chief Otto Drozd will honor those lost on September 11, 2001.
If you are interested in walking or running, you can sign up at any Walgreens or at the Crisis Center of El Paso at 2010 N. Stevens.
