Visits to Disney World and Las Vegas are up, and so is the economy.

Disney Theme Park revenue was up 8% during the second quarter. That's an indicator that more Americans are taking, and spending more, on their vacations.

It's a similar story in Vegas where casinos run by MGM reported huge earnings. Casino revenue at the Bellagio and other MGM properties is up 6% over the same period last year. Other casinos report similar stories.

It's not all good news for parks and resorts, though. Attendance at Six Flags is down this year.
