El Paso, Texas (KDBC) — Baseball fever is heating up in the Borderland, as we now know how much it will cost to buy season tickets for El Paso's Triple A team. We're getting our first look at the seating chart for games at the future ballpark. A layout of seating and a breakdown of ticket prices was sent via email to all fans who reserved seats using a $50 deposit.
Season passes are broken down into 1, 3 and 5 years and vary in price from $504 for outfield seats, to $2,000 for seats behind home plate. The best seats, along the infield, can also be purchased as part of 3 or 5 year packages. Details on individual game tickets have not been released. There are 72 games in a season.
The good news, those tickets are cheaper than the season tickets offered by some other triple a teams in our region. Season tickets to Albuquerque Isotopes games range from $580 a year to $1,400. However, season tickets for the Tucson Padres this year ranged from just $400 to only $650. The Tucson Padres are the team that's moving to El Paso. The El Paso team will play its first game next April.
