People wanting to get physical will be meeting in Socorro this Sunday for an event that's been sold out for weeks.
Eagle in the Sun Triathlon will attract about 375 people to the Tigua Recreation and Wellness Center.
The event includes a 400-meter swim, a 12-mile bike ride, and a 3-mile run along Socorro Road.
Organizers say it's also the first USA Triathlon-sanctioned race to come to El Paso.
“For the third fattest city to take on triathlon and sell out 5 weeks before the race is a pretty amazing feat,” said race director Gabriela Gallegos.
Since the race is already sold out, you'll have to wait until next labor day if you want to participate. But they are still welcoming volunteers. You can go to RaceElPaso.com and click on the “Volunteer” tab.
