EL PASO (KDBC) — Hundreds of children in El Paso from low income families will have a new toy this Christmas.
This morning more than 100 bikers and organizations participated in the annual toy parade that started in Sunland Park and ended in Cohen stadium in northeast El Paso.
Dozens of community members attended to show their support by donating a toy and paying 10 dollars in donations.
“It goes in to the communities these kids would never have a toy if it wasn’t for this event and what more than to put a smile on a kid’s face on Christmas day,” parade organizer Millie Serna said.
“that’s what makes El Paso unique with all the bikers the independence all the clubs we’re just one big family and we help each other so much and when it comes to the children of our community there is nothing that will stop us,” supporter Cynthia Simpson said.
This is the 31st time that El Paso bikers unite for the cause.
