Toddler ejected in northeast crash

El Paso Police alerted the public to a serious two-car accident on the intersection of Dyer and Sun Valley where a 2-year-old boy was seriously injured after being ejected from one of the vehicles.
Investigators said he landed on the roadway and was rushed to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

Another toddler riding in the same truck, said to be three years old, along with a female passenger, were also injured in the crash and taken to University Medical Center. The second vehicle involved was an SUV with two passengers. They suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The intersection was being closed off through 4 p.m., investigators said.
