Three men arrested in Ace Cash Express robbery

El Paso Police arrested three men after robbery at an eastside Ace Cash Express just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police have identified the three men as Jose Luis Dominguez, 31, Alejandro Flores Cano, 30, and Javier Samuel Soto, 40.

EPPD Officers were dispatched to the Ace Cash Express located at 12135 Montwood Dr. at 10:27 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived to the scene, officers identified a car fleeing the scene with two men inside. A third man was seen running toward the back of the building.

The vehicle with two men inside refused to stop for police units, and someone inside the vehicle allegedly threw a handgun out of the car before stopping at the intersection of Montwood and Desert Sun.

EPPD Officers took the two suspects inside of the vehicle into custody. Officers were later able to locate the third man hiding a close to the Ace Cash Express. Officers were able to recover the handgun and the cash that was taken during the attempted robbery.

Dominguez, Soto and Cano were all charged with Aggravated Robbery in connection with the incident. Soto was also charged with Evading arrest or Detention and an outstanding theft warrant. Dominguez' bond was set at $40,000. Cano's bond was set at $80,000 and Soto's bond was set at $64,000.
