El Paso mayoral candidate, Robert Cormell came in third place on election night, according to unofficial results.

Cormell said he was surprised with the results from election night, and he wishes frontrunner, Oscar Leeser best of luck with the runoff election.

"Good job, Oscar. I don't care what you're mom says, I think you're a good guy," said Cormell jokingly.

At his campaign headquarters, Cormell's family, friends, and supporters all congratulated and supported him. A seemingly cheerful Cormell thanked his team for all their hard work.

Cormell, a successful businessman, owns a bagel shop franchise and runs mentoring programs for at-risk youth. He said it will soon be business as usual for him and his projects.
