Suspicious fire engulfs vehicle in Central El Paso

El Paso — Fire investigators say arson may be to blame for a car fire that engulfed one vehicle and partially damaged another.

A witness called 911 just before 1:30 AM on Monday after seeing the fire on Jackson and Copia.

Firefighters say a bottle of lighter fluid was left next to one of the cars. One of the vehicles is a total loss.

The fire remains under investigation but so far no one has been arrested.
