An alleged burglar breaks into a West El Paso restaurant looking for cash, and now El Paso police are looking for him.

According to Javier Sambrano with Crime Stoppers of El Paso, the suspect used a large rock to break the glass door at the entrance of the Villa Del Mar restaurant on Mesa.

Investigators said he went straight to the cash registers, but did not stop there.

"The man then went to the office, kicked in the door to the office, and again searched the office for any more cash. The man then went to a storage area, kicked in that door and again looked for cash," said Sambrano.

A surveillance camera captured photos of the suspect. He is described as a white or Hispanic man with a heavy build.

If you recognize him, or have any information to help police, call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-TIPS (8477).
