Suspect steals purse from car, uses credit cards

EL PASO, TX (KDBC) — Make sure you lock your car when you're at church. El Paso Police are trying to find a man who allegedly broke into two vehciles parked outside a Catholic church in Northeast El Paso.

The incident occured the evening of May 22. El Paso Police say one of the victims had parked her car in the rear parking lot of the Blessed Sacrament Church on Diana in Northeast El Paso. They said when she left she noticed her window was broken and her purse was missing.

Just hours later the victim's credit card was used at the Valero on Delta. The man was captured on surveillance video.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Crimestoppers at 566-TIPS.
