UPDATE: Three El Paso Police Officers involved in an officer-involved shooting worked for Central Regional Command and are between 4 and 8 year veterans of the force.

Police have not released their names.

Border patrol officials have also not released information about the agent involved.

One of the officers tried to stop Daniel Myers Friday morning. He refused and led them on a chase. Police said Myers jumped out of the car and started shooting at them. The three police officers and border patrol agent fired back, killing him.

Troopers in Barry County, Michigan said 47-year-old Myers was wanted for two counts of armed robbery, habitual offender and felony firearms. In January, officers said he allegedly robbed an 81-year-old woman at gunpoint. Troopers had been looking for Myers for the past month.
