Just over one in ten adults diagnosed with autism has a job, but according to experts, modern technology could change that.

A new study out of Virginia Commonwealth University found programming a PDA  to guide autism patients throughout the work day can improve productivity and cut down on confusion and outbursts.

Participants used an iPod Touch that was programmed with reminders and lists, helpful videos and tools for managing their behavior.
