A new study reported that hospital employees are less healthy than the general workforce. It found hospital employees weree more likely to be diagnosed with chronic conditions like asthma, obesity and depression and were 5 percent more likely hospitalized.
These workers also spent 9 percent more in health care costs than the general workforce. In addition - it was found that health workers took less preventative care.
