LAS CRUCES — Las Cruces City Council was scheduled to vote on the public's appeal for a strip club Monday.
As Local 4 reported, the club needs a special use permit that was not granted by the planning and zoning commission in September. The appeal has to be heard before council to vote on granting the permit or not.
Public comment will not be allowed, however more than 40 people spoke at the planning and zoning commission. Council will also discuss transferring over a liquor license for the club.
Reporter Cathy Hernandez will have more Monday on Local 4 News at 5:30.
