State rep files bill prohibiting pay for terminated teachers' contracts

Texas State Representative Jason Villalba has filed house bill 1976 that will prohibit a school district from continuing to pay a teacher whose contract was terminated for good cause.

Villalba said prohibiting school districts from paying these offenders beyond the first appeal saves school districts money and enables the school district to use those funds for the benefit of the children.
