Some Children's Vitamins Falsely Advertised

The marketer of Disney and Marvel Hero-Themed vitamins for children is refunding more than two-million dollars. The company has admitted its vitamins contained only a fraction of the nutritional value it claimed on the packaging.

The pills were advertised as containing a dose of D-H-A that would satisfy 100% of a child's daily requirement, but the Federal Trade Commission says in some cases the vitamins contained only small amounts of the Omega-3 fatty acid found in fish.

The packaging featured characters like Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh, Nemo and Spider-man.
If you think you may have bought a box you have until October to file a claim on the FTC's website, www.ftc.gov.
