EL PASO - A big school rally for the Socorro Independent School District today and not a student was to be seen.
Thousands of teachers, administrators and support staff celebrated the start of another school year.
Socorro school district leaders say it is a good way to lay the foundation for continued success.
The district also celebrated its improvement in TAKS test results.
