Socorro Fire Department Mum after Firefighters Arrested

The Socorro Fire Department isn't saying much after having two of their volunteer firefighters arrested for aggravated robbery.
For the past several days we've been trying to contact the Department's Chief about the allegations against the firefighters but have yet to receive a response.
They, along with three other men, are accused of punching, kicking and even slamming a brick into a man's face before they robbed him.
Sheriff's Deputies say the man had to play dead so he could escape.
We'll let you know if the department speaks up.
