Socorro Animal Ordinance Passed

Socorro, TX- Thursday night Socorro City Council passed the city's hotly debated animal ordinace.
Before it was approved a few changes were made to help both sides come to an agreement.
The proposal for new animal registration fees was deleted as well as increased drainage restrictions.
One major change that passed was a proposal that says large animal owners have to keep their animals at least 60 feet from their neighbors property.
