UPDATE: Missing elderly man found at bus stop near Montwood HS

UPDATE: El Paso Police has canceled the Silver Alert for the missing elderly man from El Paso's east side. 76-year-old Carlos Silva was located by family members at about 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at a bus stop near Montwood High School. He is reportedly in good condition. His family thanks the El Paso community for their help in searching for Mr. Silva.

EARLIER: El Paso Police are asking for the community's assistance locating an elderly man who went missing from his home around 7:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Carlos Silva, 76, was last seen walking out of his home located at 11693 Bunky Henry on El Paso's east side at 7:30 a.m. Friday morning. He was wearing a red fleece jacket, bright green polo shirt with green stripes, brown slacks and black tennis shoes.

Mr. Silva suffers from several medical issues including hypertension, COPD and depressing and his family is hoping that someone can help bring him home. Silva left his medications at home and he may be in danger.
