Police say man was shot inside a Northeast El Paso restaurant after a fight broke out between two groups of people.
It happened just before 9:00 a.m. at Gallegos Restaurant in the 9300 block of Dyer.
Police say a 24-year-old man was shot in the eye with a handgun. He was taken to the hospital where his condition is unknown.
Dyer's Northbound lanes will remain closed for several hours as officers continue to investigate.
