El Paso, TX (KDBC) — Next time you are in South El Paso, you will want to make a quick stop in the Segundo Barrio.
Volunteers have spend more than a week painting a mural that represents the history dating back to 1910.
The design is displayed at Wisco Supply Inc. on 815 Sant Vrain.
UTEP Professor, Francisco Delgado says the mural helps beautify the community.
"It definitely brings pride to the neighborhood. People stop and see symbols and icons that represent them so it brings pride to the community"
The mural was organized by art students from UTEP.
