Search is on for dog lost after car accident

El Paso County Sheriff Deputies are looking for a dog ejected during a rollover in Tornillo. The dog was one of two in the car when the accident happened on Monday afternoon.

Deputies say 35-year-old Victoria Ojeda, from Atlanta, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 when she lost control and rolled over several times landing on the westbound outside shoulder. She suffered several fractures and was released for the hospital Wednesday evening.

She was traveling with two dogs at the time of the crash and is now in search of "Oscar", a short tale, Boston Terrier with short white/black & dark brown hair. The dog  was ejected at the time of the accident and last seen running south into the desert area. It is unknown if he was injured.  At the time, “Oscar” had a light blue collar and he is chipped. The Ojeda family has offered a reward for the return of “Oscar” and is asking the public for assistance to help find him.
