Save a life, adopt a pet

The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley will facilitate dog, cat, puppy and kitten adoptions this Saturday, Jan. 25.

In addition to adoptions from the shelter site, adoptions also will take place at off-site pet events.

Adoptions will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market in downtown Las Cruces.

Dogs available for adoption will be located at the north end of the mall.

Cats can be adopted from the offices of the Center for Spiritual Living at the north end of the mall, across from the site where the dog adoptions take place.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., adoptions also will be facilitated at PetCo, 3050 E. Lohman, also in Las Cruces.

Adoption fees are $75 for dogs/ puppies and $50 for cats/kittens.

The fee includes the first set of vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchip.
