San Elizario - A San Eli man was killed in a shootout in Mississippi.
Police say Jose Arenas, 25, was an accomplice in a Vicksburg store robbery last Thursday.
The store owner chased down the two robbers and shot Arenas, whose body was found the next day under a nearby overpass.
An autopsy shows Arenas also had a broken ankle.
Police are still looking for the other man accused in the store hold-up. He is identified as Jaime Flores, 26, of Houston.
Police have not charged the store owner in the incident.
