It's usually thought of as the busiest shopping day of the year, but several retailers are telling consumers why wait until Black Friday when you can come on in and start your holiday shopping right after Thanksgiving dinner.
According the National Retail Federation, 24 percent of shoppers say they were at a store at midnight on Black Friday.
So this Thanksgiving some retailers across the country hope to cash in as they kickoff the holiday shopping season on Black Friday Eve.
Retail giants like Walmart and Sears plan to open their doors at 8 p.m. with several early bird deals.
