ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — We all look forward to our income tax refunds, and now so will New Mexico Magistrate Courts.
If you've gotten a ticket in New Mexico and haven't paid it, the Internal Revenue Service will intercept, or withold, your money until you pay up.
The state is owed more than $3 million in unpaid fines and fees by 10,000 offenders.
