Providence Children's Hospital has been selected by Multiplan, a health insurance provider, to receive two motorized toy cars for children to drive in while in the hospital.

The hospital is hopeful that this will help make childrens' stays in the hospital a little more pleasant.

Racecar driver, Staff Sgt. Jonathon Pope, of Fort Bliss, also stopped by the hospital Thursday to visit the kids and sign autographs.

Multiplan has give out more than 145 cars to member hospitals across the country since the program's inception in 1998.
