Wednesday Mexican President Felipe Calderon made his second visit to Juarez in a week.
He was in the city to hear updates to proposals brought up on February 11th's visit. Organizations proposed several things from extending school hours to creating more jobs and building new rehab centers. Calderon said he wants to bring expert agents into Juarez to stop the violence.
But as Calderon made those comments, a man was murdered in downtown Juarez. Police say the man was killed in the parking garage of a mercado.
Protesters and reporters also clashed with federal agents during Calderon's visit. The reportedly beat some of the crowd, and forced them to move to other locations.
The group of protestors Wednesday, was the same group that gathered on February 13th. They marched to the Paso Del Norte bridge, and then laid in the streets. The group called the federal soldiers who patrol Juarez streets, murders.
Calderon announced he will make another trip to the bordeland in two weeks.
