EL PASO, TX — The power on the UTEP campus was turned off on Sunday.
El Paso Electric started a campus wide outage Sunday afternoon for necessary repairs to an electric switch that feeds all of UTEP.
Emergency generators will be powering only the equipment and lighting plugged into emergency circuits.
All other power is off until 8 a.m. Monday.
