Monday, February 25, 2013 - 12:57am

Police are on the look-out for a gunman who robbed a store in the Mission Valley.

It happened at the Family Dollar on Alameda near Snelson on February 9 just before 10 p.m.

The robber walked in just as employees were closing the store.
"A man walked into the business just as it was closing, approached one of the employees who was actually closing out the register, threatened the employee with the handgun, demanded the money and fled the scene," said Javier Sambrano with El Paso Police Department.

Surveillance video shows the man wearing a black hat, black jacket, and blue jeans. He also appears to have a full beard and mustache.

The robber got away in a late model SUV.

If you have information, call Crime Stoppers at 566-TIPS.
