Police search for clues in northeast El Paso murder

Police were looking for clues to solve the brutal murder of a northeast El Paso woman.

Officers found 53-year-old Nora Kim Lorts dead in the backyard of her home on Onyxstone and Tiger Eye on March 6.

They believe she died sometime between 7 a.m. and noon.

"Through their investigation, they did determine the death was suspicious in nature. After the autopsy, the death was ruled a homicide and this of course has been an ongoing homicide investigation," said Javier Sambrano with El Paso Police Department.

Police have not said how Lorts died.
