A medical examiner is calling it an accident but officers believe it isn't. As we've reported, 37-year old Wakesha Ives was arrested after her 5-month old baby was found dead inside her car. We retrieved the affidavit today which states the woman dropped off her 4 year-old child at the Holy Spirit Daycare on Alameda, but not her other child, Janay Ives, who died.

The woman then went to Riverside High where she teaches and found the girl as she was leaving school for the day. According to the baby's autopsy, the little girl's temperature was 105 degrees. A medical examiner ruled the victim's cause of death was accidental but officers believe there's enough evidence to charge Ives with injury to a child.

Police on the scene say the woman was yelling," I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen...my baby I dropped her off at daycare."

Ives posted bail and was released from jail yesterday.
