EL PASO — In El Paso's 11th pedestrian fatality of 2012, Toby Balkmon, 48 died after being struck by two separate vehicles on I-10 near Schuster.
Balkmon died at the scene, and the drivers involved notified 911 immediately. No charges are pending against the drivers.
Investigators were still trying to determine why Balkmon was in the roadway of I-10.
