EL PASO — Police arrested Samuel Jacob Perez, 24, in the early Sunday morning murder of 21-year-old Cameron Canada.
Police said Canada was a stabbing victim during a brawl at a house party. He was found laying at a Bob Mitchell intersection in east El Paso.
"He saw several people out on the street. The officer was informed by some of the people who were out on the street that a person had actually been injured. The officer then found our 21-year-old victim laying in the intersection,” said Javier Sambrano with The El Paso Police Dept.
Police said this is the 17th murder of the year.
