EL PASO — UPDATE: The man killed has been identified as 30-year-old Jarrod Pelayo.

A man is dead after his car collided with a train in South El Paso near North Clark Drive and El Paso.
Police said the man was driving southbound on North Clark Drive at the same time a train was headed westbound on the tracks nearby. According to a preliminary investigation, the man drove around the train crossing arm and was hit by the train.
He was the only person in the car. His name will be released once family is notified.
Police continue to investigate.
