Newport, VT — An angry farmer allegedly used a massive tractor to flatten more than half the fleet of a police department in Vermont.
State police put the damages at about 250-thousand dollars, after seven of the Orleans County Sheriffs Department's vehicles were flattened in the department's parking lot.
Police say 34-year-old Roger Pion (pee-on) was arrested after a low-speed chase.
Pion's jailed on 15-thousand-dollars bail.
A neighboring police agency, Newport City Police, says it arrested Pion a month ago on charges of resisting arrest and marijuana possession.
State police are conducting an independent investigation of Thursday's incident.
