LAS CRUCES — Las Cruces Police arrested a teenager who is accused of attacking two police officers.
Dominick Armijo, 18, is charged with two counts of battery on a peace officer.
According to the Las Cruces Police Department, the attack happened while officers were arresting Armijo's 16-year-old brother who was allegedly involved in a fight at a Jack In The Box restaurant in Las Cruces,
Police said Armijo hit one officer in the head, then tackled a second officer to the ground.
The officers are expected to recover from their injuries.
