Saratoga Springs, NY- A holiday tradition you've never heard of, maybe.

In this quaint little New England town, a candy shop by the name of Saratoga Sweets has been busy making and shipping peppermint pigs all over the world. This season more than 100-thousand of these shiny candy pigs will make it to holiday tables. It's an old European symbol of good luck that the owner of Saratoga Sweets has been reviving since 1988.
The pigs come in three different sizes and the order includes a velvet bag and a metal hammer. The tradition dictates; the pig is smashed and the candy is enjoyed by the family.
