HORIZON CITY, TX — A pilot has died after a accident at the Horizon Airport.
The FAA which investigates all aviation accidents, said the glider failed to gain altitude during takeoff and crashed at about 11 a.m. Saturday.
The male pilot is still not identified.
After the accident, a helicopter rushed him to Univeristy Medical Center where he died Sunday afternoon.
