Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley (ASCMV) is calling on professional photographers to volunteer a few hours a week and their equipment to help save an animal’s life.

ASCMV is asking professional photographers, who are 18 years of age or older and have their own modern photography equipment.

Those interested can call the volunteer coordinator at 575-382-0018 to get more information on the orientation and training on ASCMV rules, regulations and safety procedures.

Photographers must provide their own memory card which will be left at the shelter to upload and process pictures.

A photography team will be assembled beginning after January 5, and will be asked to dedicate their Thursdays from 2 – 4 p.m.

Background checks are required for all volunteers at ASCMV.
